Where's the remote?

I wish on my sleeve
I wore a rewind or a
fast forward button

Instead of my heart
with dirty marks of no luck
and lack of control

I would be able
to revisit happiness;
not have to pretend

It's the four words "or a fast forward" that make this a poem of hope rather than despair. Nice.

Instead of my heart

I enjoyed the entire thing, but that stanza... just amazing.

This reminded me of that movie I never saw, Click. (I saw previews.)

I'd definitely use the rewind and slow motion buttons most often, I think. Sometimes pause. But never fast forward.
